The creative and talented film maker Puri Jagannadh has completed 22 years in Indian cinema. His debut directorial Badri in which Power star Pawan Kalyan, Renu Desai and Ameesha Patel played the lead roles, was hit at the box office, was released on 20th April 22 years ago. Since then, Puri has directed a lot of movies. While congratulatory messages are pouring in on social media from fans and netizens, several celebrities from Tollywood are wishing the director on the remarkable journey. #20YearsOfPuriJagan and #22YearsofBadri are trending on social media.
Known as the Dynamic Director in Telugu film industry, Puri Jagannadh has delivered a number of blockbuster movies in his filmy career. Before becoming a director, he started his career as an assistant director to Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV for several Telugu films.
Currently Puri is busy in his upcoming directorial venture Liger which has Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey in the lead roles. It is being produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur while Karan Johar will be presenting the Hindi version of the upcoming Pan-India release. After the release of Liger, once again, Puri will work with Vijay Deverakonda for Jana Gana Mana.
