Popular TV host-cum-actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is essaying a crucial role in icon star Allu Arjun starrer upcoming actioner ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, which is being directed by Sukumar and it is on the verge of the completion. She joined the sets of Pushpa in the third week of April, and shot for a few days amid safety restrictions and COVID protocols.
In 2018, she essayed the crucial role of Kolli Rangamma in ‘Rangasthalam’ and received a lot of applause for her convincing performance. Once again Sukumar brought her on the board to play the crucial role in his directorial venture. Now according to the latest report, tomorrow the makers of Pushpa: the rise will release the first look poster of Anasuya Bharadwaj as Drakshayini at 10:08 am. The makers of Pushpa confirmed the same by sharing a poster on their official Twitter handle.
Earlier during an interview, Anasuya opened up on her character in Pushpa and said, “ My character will pack a punch with the audience and be as impactful as the one in Rangasthalam. I am thankful to Sukumar sir for placing trust in me with yet another solid role.”
The film Pushpa has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role whereas Sunil and Fahadh Faasil are playing the villain.
