Allu Arjun has teamed up with director Sukumar for an action thriller titled Pushpa, in which he is sharing the screen space with Geetha Govindam fame Rashmika Mandanna. According to the latest update, the makers of Pushpa are planning to resume the shoot of the film very soon. We have already reported that Sukumar halted the shoot in the month of April after crew members tested positive for the Coronavirus. Now the reports are coming that the team of Pushpa is all set to resume the shoot from 5th July in Hyderabad.
After wrapping up the shoot in Hyderabad, the team of Pushpa will fly to either Thailand or China for the fight scene. Malayalam actor Fahadh Faazil is playing the main antagonist in Pushpa, which will be released in two parts.
Director Sukumar‘ Pushpa part 1 will arrive at the theaters on 13th August 2021 whereas the second part is expected to hit the cinema halls in 2023. The Pan Indian film starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media. The technical crew comprises the music composer Devi Sri Prasad, editor Karthika Srinivas and the cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek.
Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Harish Uthaman, Kannada actor Dhananjaya, Vennela Kishore and Anish Kuruvilla are playing the supporting roles.
