The 67th Filmfare Awards South 2022 took place at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre on 9th October 2020.  Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna starrer  Pushpa: The Rise, Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru, Prithviraj’s Ayyappanum Koshiyum and late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar received top honours.  Pushpa : The Rise  has walked away with seven honours at Filmfare Awards South 2022. In addition to it, Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has won three awards.

Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) – Allu Arjun for Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1

Best Director – Sukumar for Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1

Best Playback Singer – Male – Sid Sriram for Srivalli from Pushpa: The Rise

Best Playback Singer – Female – Indravathi Chauhan for Oo Antava from Pushpa: The Rise

Best Cinematography – Miroslaw Kuba Brozek for Pushpa: The Rise

For Telugu, it was raining awards for celebrtaies, especially for movies like Pushpa: The Rise and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The award for Best Telugu Film has been bagged by Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. Producer Naveen Yerneni was received the award for producing the project. While Allu Arjun bagged the Best Actor award.
