According to the latest buzz , Prasad V Potluri, who is fondly known as PVP, is all set to contest as Vijayawada MP on YSRCP ticket. Prasad V Potluri is a noted film producer who has produced Brahmotsavama, Oopiri, Kshanam and Size Zero and many more to list from the past. He is also an established businessman and philanthropist. Now, looks like PVP is planning to test his luck in politics.
Prasad V Potluri is a serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and educationalist. He started his own production company called PVP cinema. As a serial entrepreneur in the global outsourcing services space PVP successfully built and sold 3 companies while serving the needs of the Fortune 1000 marketplace. Prasad V Potluri (PVP) is chief patron of Prasad V Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology, in Vijaywada. He is also a patron in LV Prasad Eye Institute.
At the time of the elections in 2014, Prasad V Potluri (PVP) desired to win the TDP (Telugu Desam Party) ticket as Vijayawada MP. TDP, however, preferred Kesineni Nani over PVP and thereafter the Producer distanced Pawan Kalyan. He was recommended by Pawan Kalyan, but the latter allegedly refused to seek anything in return from Chandrababu Naidu for his support. Prasad V Potluri (PVP) felt betrayed as he was a strong pillar from the beginning of Jana Sena’s establishment. He, since then, broke up all ties with him and his party. But, the desire of entering politics has still been intact in him.
It is heard that PVP seems to be planning to become active again as Lok Sabha Polls will be happening soon. PVP would join YSRCP soon if he gets an assurance from Jagan Mohan Reddy on Vijayawada MP Ticket. On 14th February, Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to open his new party office and it is expected that PVP will join the YSRCP on the same day.
