Stylish Star Allu Arjun has already joined the sets of his upcoming flick with director Trivikram Srinivas, which is progressing at the brisk pace. Recently, the team did a customary pooja in Hyderabad.
He has also announced his next flick titled ICON, which will be directed by Veni Sriram. Now according to the latest update, the makers have locked Rasshi Khanna to play the female lead in Allu Arjun starrer Icon.
Allu Arjun will be sporting a new look in Icon. Recently the makers conduced a look test and locked Raashi Khanna for Allu Arjun. On 8th April, on the occasion of Allu Arjun’ birthday, the makers of ICON released the film’s title and poster.
In the poster, Allu Arjun was seen travelling in his bike and it looks like the film’s story is about him and his stolen bike. Dil Raju is the producer and the movie will hit the theaters next year during summer.
Recently it was also heard that ICON is Telugu remake of a Filipino film, Kita Kita. However, sources close to the actor revealed that Icon is not a remake, but an original script. The makers are expected to finalize the cast and crew of this film in the coming weeks.
Raashi Khanna is on signing spree and currently she is busy in her upcoming movie Venky Mama. Very soon the official announcement regarding the inclusion of Raashi Khanna in Allu Arjun starrer Icon will be made.
