Amazon Prime Video has officially confirmed that Radhe Shyam starring Young Rebel star Prabhas and dusky beauty Pooja Hegde will be streaming on the service starting 1st April 2022, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar of Jil fame and produced by UV Creations and T-Series, Radhe Shyam is a romantic and periodic drama in which Prabhas played the role of Vikramaditya. The romantic fantasy drama also stars Mainay Pyaar Kiya fame Bhagyashree, Priyadarshi, Krishnam Raju, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Sathyan.
Set in Europe of 1970s, Radhe Shyam tells the story of Vikramaditya, a palmist who is conflicted between destiny and his love for Prerana. The movie was theatrically released on 11th March 2022 and received mixed reviews from critics with appreciation of the performances and production values but criticism for its screenplay and narration. The movie bombed at the box office and reportedly suffered losses amounting to over Rs 100 crore, the highest for an Indian film.
Prabhas will soon be seen in Prashanth Neel’ Salaar, Om Raut’ magnum opus Adipurush, Nag Ashwin and Deepika padukone’ science fiction drama Project K and Raja Deluxe whereas Pooja Hegde is waiting for the release of Vijay starrer Beast.
