Multistarrers in Telugu film industry were quite common. It is known news that in multistarrer ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ , Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and Victory Venkatesh played the lead role. Many films like ‘Oopiri’, ‘Devadas’, ‘F2: Fun and Frustration’, ‘Masala’, and others were decent hit at the box office. Currently SS Rajamouli is working for much hyped multistarrer RRR which has young Tiger Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, and is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya, and it slated to hit the theaters on 8th January 2021 in multiple languages. The legendary director K Raghavendar Rao also planned a multi-starrer with senior heroes long back.
Raghavendar Rao wanted to make a big budget multistarrer titled ‘Triveni Sangamam’ with Megastar Chiranjeevi, King Nagarjuna and Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead as his 100th film. But this film did not work out and he made ‘Gangotri’ with Allu Arjun as his century film.
Now the reports are coming that Raghavendar Rao is once again planning to make multistarrer with Chirajeevi, Nagarajuna and Venkatesh. This Mega-Daggubati-Akkineni combo will attract the movie movies a lot.
It is also being heard that Raghavendar Rao is planning to produce ‘Triveni Sangamam’ with his son Prakash Kovelamudi as director.
