It is known that Shilpa Shetty’ husband Raj Kundra has been arrested by Mumbai Police on 19th July  under sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act. On Tuesday, Bombay High Court sought a response from the Mumbai Police in a plea by Raj Kundra, arrested for the  creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps, alleging that his arrest was illegal as he was not served legal notices as per law. The  Mumbai High court said it cannot decide on granting interim relief and pass an order without hearing respondent authorities and adjourned hearing in plea.   The High Court will hear the plea next on 29th July.

Mumbai court remanded Raj Kundra in 14-day judicial custody in a case related to pornography case. Raj Kundra was produced before a magistrate’s court here at the end of his police remand on Tuesday. The court sent the businessman in judicial custody for 14 days. He moved the court for bail and his plea was kept for hearing on Wednesday.

On July 23, the Mumbai Crime Branch had raided businessman Raj Kundra’s Viaan Industries office in Andheri, Mumbai and found a hidden cupboard, which contained several documents about financial transactions and cryptocurrency.

The police claimed to have found fifty one obscene videos,  thirty five with Hotshots logo and  sixteen with BollyFame logo, during the searches at the office of  Raj Kundra.
