Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea is an upcoming much hyped movie in which Mohanlal is playing the lead role. Written and directed by Priyadarshan, Lalettan will be seen playing the role of Kunjali Marakkar IV in this big budget drama which also has National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh in the crucial role. The film produced under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas with Moonshot Entertainments and Confident Group as co-producers , will hit the theaters on 2nd December.  Keerthy Suresh who is also a violinist, learnt to play veena for the upcoming Mohanlal starrer. Her character’s romance with Kunjali Marakkar IV’s aide Chinali is a pivotal point in the film.  Chinali’s role is played by Thai actor Jay J Jakkrit.

Keerthy Suresh who is essaying the role Aarcha,  shared three of her ethnic looks from the movie Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea  and also revealed the inspiration behind her looks by sharing paintings of famous artists. These paintings , shared by Keerthy on Instagram, belong to one of the greatest painters in the history of Indian art, Raja Ravi Varma.

Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea is made on the budget of Rs 100 crore and touted as the most expensive Malayalam film ever made.

On the otherside, Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead in Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
