SS Rajamouli is utilizing this lockdown period and supervising the VFX work of upcoming project RRR. It is known news that the makers of RRR have already announced that RRR will be released on 8th January 2021. But recently once again, Rajamouli was asked about RRR release date, to which he said, “We have a buffer time of 3 months left for multistarrer RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, when we announced that RRR will arrive at the theaters on 8th Jan, 2021. But now I am not sure about the release date of RRR.”
RRR helmer further said, “Now everything depends on the Government announcement after the lockdown. After wrapping up the shoot of RRR, we will take the call on the updated release date of RRR. Though we will try to complete the shoot on time but big budget project RRR needs ample time for the post-production. Now because of lockdown, the entire work of RRR is kept on hold except VFX work.”
During this lockdown, Rajamouli is spending his time with family members and reading the books. RRR which has Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Olivia Morris and Ajay Devgn, is bankrolled by DVV Danayya whereas the film has the music by MM Keeravani.
