Rajamouli heaped praises Yash’s father and said that he was a bus driver but he made his son a superstar. Rajamouli added, “I had seen a few visuals of KGF featuring Yash was shown to him in one of the hotels in Bengaluru in summer this year. I was blown away by the grand visuals and the hard work of team.” Rajamouli also wished Yash for the success of the film.

KGF is a two-part movie, written and directed by Prashanth Neel. The story is set in the 70s and traces the mining history of the region and how it impacted the lives of the people. The first installment will be released on 21st December and will compete with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero.
Sai Korrapati is releasing KGF’s Telugu version. SS Rajamouli is a close associate of Sai Korrapati. KGF will hit screens in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
Yash is playing the role of Salmaan, who goes to Mumbai in childhood and returns to the KGF to become the ruler of the region. Srinidhi Shetty is playing the female lead in this film, which has Ananth Nag, Achyuth Kumar and others in supporting role.
On the otherside, Rajamouli is currently busy in his upcoming big budget entertainer RRR in which Jr NTR and Ram Charan are playing the lead role.
