Few days ago, SS Rajamouli and the team of RRR including Ram Charan and Jr NTR were busy in the promotional activities. It is known that Karan Johar was the presenter of Hindi version of Baahubali series. However, his name was missing from the posters of RRR Hindi. Instead, the Hindi version of RRR is presented by Pen Studios’ Jayantilal Gada.
Recently, at the pre-release event of RRR in Mumbai when Karan Johar asked SS Rajamouli why he did not give him the rights to the Hindi version of RRR even though he presented his previous two Baahubali movies.
Baahubali helmer SS Rajamouli replied, “I asked you to be the presenter of Baahubali series: Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. You made tens and hundreds of crores with the movies. So, when a producer makes so much money, usually as director I expect some gifts. And what did you give me? You called for your talk show and gave me a phone and a Bluetooth speaker and now you are saying that you wanted the rights of RRR Hindi.”
Rajamouli added, “Jayantilal sir has promised me a sea-facing flat in Bandra and my producer DVV Danayya has promised me a 1 acre plot in Jubilee Hills.”
