Alia Bhatt is PETA India 2021 Person of the Year- Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is making her debut in Telugu film Industry with much hyped movie RRR under the direction of SS Rajamouli, which also has Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran and others. The actress is also known to advocate support for cats and dogs and often uses her voice to call for stronger animal protection laws. Now according to the latest update, RRR actress Alia Bhatt has been named PETA’s 2021 Person of the Year for her work in support of an animal-friendly fashion industry.
Recently the actress had invested in Phool, the company behind Fleather, that makes vegan leather out of discarded temple flowers. In addition, her vegan kidswear line, Ed-a-Mamma, also won a 2021 PETA India fashion award for helping to nurture the kids’ love for animals and nature.
Sachin Bangera – the PETA India Director of Celebrity and Public Relations said, ” B town actress Alia Bhatt is not only helping to advance vegan fashion but she is also encouraging the next generation to be kind to the animals.”
Rajamouli’ RRR actress Alia Bhatt is an animal lover and often shares photographs with her pets on social media.
