SS Rajamouli is the top director of the film Industy and currently he is working with Jr NTR and Ram Charan for his directorial venture RRR, which is being backed by DVV Danayya. According to the latest update, the theatrical deals of RRR for the Telugu states are closed in advance and the makers received hefty advances from the buyers.
The sources say that Rajamouli and his RRR team has received offers from Independent distributors from different territories of Southern states which amounts to Rs 348 Cr. And it is going to be the biggest deal in the history of Tollywood, defeating the pre-release business of SS Rajamouli’ previous magnum opus Baahubali 2, which had collected approx Rs 215 Cr from the South states. The theatrical rights offers for South Indian versions are, Nizam: Rs 75 Cr, Andhra Pradesh: Rs 165 Cr, Tamil Nadu: Rs 48 Cr, Karnataka: Rs 45 Cr, Kerala: Rs 15 Cr, which makes it approximately Rs 348 Cr.
Rs 348 Cr offer is for Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam version of Rajamouli’ RRR whereas it’s Hindi version will be released by AA Films (Anil Thadani) .
Apart from Jr NTR and Ram Charan, RRR also has Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and Shriya Saran in the crucial roles.
