SS Rajamouli is popular at the International level thanks to Baahubali series and RRR. Rajamouli’ previous offering RRR starring Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan was a blockbuster not only in India but in many other countries as well. After Naatu Naatu’s big win at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, the makers shared another big moment – when they met Steven Spielberg in Los Angeles. At the Golden Globes, Steven Spielberg’ film The Fabelmans won 2 of the biggest awards of the show – Best Film (Drama) and Best Director, whereas RRR was nominated in the Best Non English Language Film category and Best Song category. RRR won the latter for Naatu Naatu.
SS Rajamouli shared the pic of him with American filmmaker Steven Spielberg, wrote in his tweet: “I just met God.” The pic also features the music composer MM Keeravaani.
Rajamouli had a fanboy moment, when he met director Steven Spielberg at a party in the US.
RRR is also competing in major International awards. Recently, the song Naatu Naatu that features Jr NTR and Ram Charan also won the Best Song Award at the 80th Golden Globes.
