Rakul Preet Singh is currently busy in her upcoming Bollywood movie De De Pyar De. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing a bartender in the film. Recently during the media interaction, Spyder and Dhruva fame actress opened up about her role in Luv Ranjan’s movie De De Pyar De and said, “My role is quite contemporary and is set in London.”
Rakul Preet Singh will be seen sharing the screen space with Raid star Ajay Devgn in this urban romantic comedy, which is written and co-produced by Luv Ranjan. In Bollywood, Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in the Sidharth Malhotra starrer Aiyaary.
De De Pyar De marks the directorial debut of acclaimed film editor Akiv Ali and will also star Tabu and Jimmy Sheirgill in crucial roles. Apart from Luv Ranjan, Bhushan Kumar and Ankur Garg are co-producing the film. Meanwhile, it will be Luv Ranjan’s 6th movie. He has previously helmed movies like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
Apart from De De Pyar, Ajay Devgn will also be seen in upcoming much awaited drama Taanaji. The film will hit the theaters on 22nd February 2019.
On the otherside, Rakul Preet Singh will also be seen in upcoming NTR biopic, which is being helmed by Krish, in which Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the titular role and will make his screen presence as Sr NTR. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the role of late actress Sridevi. On the occasion of her birthday, the makers of NTR biopic, released few stills from the movie, that grabbed several eyeballs.
Apart from NTR biopic, Rakul Preet Singh will also be seen in Karthi 17, being directed by Rajath Ravishankar and SK 14, which is in pre-production stage.
