Well, the answer is No. Release timing is essential for any film to be successful and two young heroes Ram and Akhil have recognized that before anyone else.
Energetic Star Ram is riding high with the success of Ismart Shankar and has recently started his next venture Red, which is the official remake of Tamil hit film Tadam. Kishore Tirumala of Nenu Sailaja, Unnadi Okate Zindagi fame is whelming the project. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is going to produce the film and shooting will start from November 16th, Ram will be seen in dual roles for this flick. On the date of Muhurat, makers of Red have announced April 9th as release date.
On the other hand, Akkineni Akhil who has been promising before his launch is now looking a hit with his fourth venture. His past three flicks are unsuccessful and he is in dire need of a blockbuster. For this, he joined hands with Bommarillu Bhaskar and Allu Aravind. The shooting of this flick is going at a brisk pace and it is targetting April 9th release.
Why April 9th is special and why filmmakers are targetting this date well in advance? April 9th happens to be Thursday and April 10th is a holiday for Good Friday. While April 11th and April 12th are the weekends, April 14th is the birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar. On top of that, the Summer holiday advantage is there for the film. Who wouldn’t target this season? But, with more than 5 months are there for these releases, anything can happen. Any film can prepone or postpone their flick. We have to wait and see.
