Kavita Kaushik is well known face for Telugu/Hindi audiences as she shook leg for the item song ‘Shakila Banoo’ in Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra’s movie Zanjeer in 2013, which is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Puneet Prakash Mehra, Sumeet Prakash Mehra, Flying Turtle Films. Kavita Kaushik is an active user of social media sites. Recently the actress shared her few pics on Instagram and revealed that she see only foreigners doing yoga on the beach. She wrote, “Get over the physical bodies ! Everyone has the same if you put in the required hard work ! Also stop calling people thin or fat because our bodies are forever changing ! Love your bodies fellow Indians instead of shaming someone else’s, that’s the reason why I see only foreigners doing yoga on the beach … we Indians are only busy ogling and judging ! Apna sudhaar lo sidhaar jaane se pehle !

Kavita Kaushik is best known for her portrayal of Chandramukhi Chautala in F.I.R., a role which established her career in the TV industry, and made her a household name. She had participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye, and was one the participants in the eighth installation of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Kavita Kaushik made her debut in Bollywood with the 2004 film, Ek Hasina Thi, where she played the role of Saif Ali Khan’s girlfriend.
Kavita Kaushik was in a relationship with fellow television actor Karan Grover but they parted their ways in 2008. Later she married her best friend Ronit Biswas.
