Ram Charan is going to present Niharika Konidela as a Kathakali dancer for his upcoming production venture Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role. www.tollywood.net has already reported that Niharika Konidela, the niece of Chiranjeevi and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan, has been roped in Sye Raa to play an important role. Now the sources close to the film unit reveal that Niharika Konidela will be seen playing a Kathakali dancer and currently the actress is taking up the special training.
The sources added that Niharika Konidela will make her screen presence only for 10 minutes but her role in Sye Raa is very important. Niharika is very excited as she got the opportunity to act in Chiranjeevi’s starrer periodic drama Sye Raa.
Niharika started her filmy career with Oka Manasu, in which she played the love interest of Naga Shaurya, which was bombed at the box office. Later she decided to make her Tamil debut with Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, which was also bombed at the box office. Niharika was last seen in Telugu movie Happy Wedding. But unfortunately it was also bombed at the box office and the actress scored hat trick flop.
Apart from Chiranjeevi, Sye Raa has other stars like Nayantara, Tamannah Bhatia, Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Prakash Raj and others in supporting roles. Sye Raa is being directed by Surender Reddy and bankrolled by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions.
Chiranjeevi is playing the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, Rayalseema freedom fighter in Sye Raa, which is scheduled to hit the theaters in 2019.
Meanwhile Ram Charan is working with Boyapati Srinu, for RC12, which is progressing at brisk pace. After wrapping up the shoot of RC12, Ram Charan will join the sets of SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
