Ram Charan, visited Domakonda temple in Nizamabad recently and his trip was kept high secret. Domakonda temple is the same temple, where Ram Charan tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Upasana Kamineni, the grand-daughter of Apollo Hospitals Chairman Pratap C Reddy. After the wedding, Ram Charan used to make his visit at the temple occasionally with his family members. Upasna is currently the Vice-President of Apollo Charity and Editor of B Positive, Lifetime WellnessRx International Limited, Apollo Group of Hospital.
Ram Charan is devotional by nature. A pic in which Ram Charan is seen sitting on the floor of the temple in Domakonda fort in Nizamabad district in Telangana, is going viral on social media sites.
In 2012, Domakonda Fort came back into the spotlight after Ram Charan ’s wed Upasana Kamineni. Spread across 30 acres, Domakonda Fort houses a palatial building called the Addala Meda or the Glass Palace. Domakonda Fort was initially constructed by the Rashtrakutas in the mid 10th century. By the early 13th century, however, the Domakonda fort came into the hands of the Kakatiya rulers and was under their control until the 17th century. Later it was transferred to the Kamineni royal dynasty.
On the workside, Ram Charan is basking in the glory of his recent offering a village based drama Rangasthalam, helmed by Sukumar, in which he shared the screen space with Samantha Akkineni. Currently Ram Charan is working with Boyapati Srinu for upcoming untitled action and romantic entertainer in which Bharat Ane Nenu girl Kiara Advani is playing the female lead role. In the month of October, he will join the sets of Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli’s upcoming big budget project #RRR.
Recently Ram Charan attended the pre-release event of his cousin Niharika Konidela and Sumanth Ashwin starrer Happy Wedding as the chief guest. When he was asked that whether Niharika was the reason for him to attend the event he said, “I came to this function because of M.S. Raju not for Niharika.”
