Mega Power Star Ram Charan turned producer with his father Megastar Chiranjeevi’ comeback movie Khaidi No 150 which was blockbuster at the box office and later he bankrolled his 151st project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which was released on 2nd October 2019 worldwide in a very grand manner in multiple languages- Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Currently, the movie Sye Raa is running successfully at the box office. It is known the news that Sye Raa’ Hindi version is turning out commercially flop whereas Telugu version if super hit at the box office. Recently during the media interaction, Ram Charan spoke why Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ Hindi version had a disappointing outing at the box-offices across the North whereas it’s Telugu Version turned out huge money-spinner in the twin Telugu states.

Ram Charan realized his mistake and revealed, “Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ disappointed the movie lovers in the North because of clashing with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War.” He added, “Bollywood movie war proved costly for Sye Raa’ Hindi version.” But now it’s too late.

Ram Charan further added, “We could have done much better in Hindi.” According to the trader’s report, Ram Charan’s production venture Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring Chiranjeevi, Nayanatara and Tamannah Bhatia has collected approx. Rs 275 crore in the southern states alone whereas War collected around Rs 300 crore.

In Sye Raa, Chiranjeevi played the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who was depicted as the emperor of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. The movie is directed by Surender Reddy and is produced by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela productions whereas it has the music by Amit Trivedi.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy also has Jagapathi Babu, Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka Shetty, Niharika Konidela, Sudeep and others in the supporting roles.

On the other side, Ram Charan will be next seen in Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR.
