If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Salman Khan has been roped in Tanaaji-The Unsung Warrior to play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is known news that Mega Power Star Ram Charan has lent his voice for Salman Khan, for Telugu version of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.
In 2017, Gangajal and Raid fame Ajay Devgn took to Twitter and announced his upcoming drama Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior. Later he made official announcement about Nawab Saif Ali Khan. He has already joined the sets. Earlier it was heard that Saif Ali Khan is playing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In a recent interview Saif Ali Khan, who is busy in the promotional activities of his Baazaar, confirmed being a part of Ajay Devgn’s Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior and said that he has already started shooting for the film. Saif Ali Khan has refuted the rumour that he will play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film and revealed his character to be an anti-hero. The sources say that Saif Ali Khan will play a Rajput warrior, Udaybhan Rathod, who was the fort keeper of Mughal King Aurangzeb. Now as Salman Khan has been roped in the film, it is expected that he will play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior.
