Upasana captioned it,”Bonding with the girls on a mission to #savetigers @ApolloFND @WWFINDIA – spending our Republic Day weekend learning about India’s wildlife ! Jai Hind.”
WWF-India is one of the largest conservation organizations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country. Upasana has something in common apart from her celebrity status. She has come forward to endorse a message for the people. Whether it is turning the vegetarian, binding themselves in chains, getting inside the cages or going out of their way to provide the shelter to the birds and animals – the actors have done their bit to promote awareness about cruelty against animals. When it comes to raising awareness for the animals, the Telugu celebrities are available at a click for the cause.
The celebrity involvement in campaigns for the animals started in 2001 when Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit wrote letters to the people in South Africa and Assam appealing for the endangered black rhino and elephants respectively. Since then, number of celebrities have shed their inhibitions to wear outrageous outfits, and spread the message that animals must not be killed for commerce.
Now Upasana is on the mission of saving Tigers.
On the otherside, Upasana’s husband Mega Power Star Ram Charan is currently busy in his upcoming multistarrer RRR, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of SS Rajamouli, in which Young Tiger Jr NTR is also playing the lead role. Currently the hunt for the female leads are on.
Ram Charan was last seen in Vinaya Vidheya Rama, which is turning out disaster at the box office.
