Ram Gopal Varma, the Twitter King, who is currently busy in the promotional activities of his next upcoming bilingual film, Bhairava Geetha, shared a pic on his Twitter and captioned it, “During my rowdy days in Vijayawada.” When Ram Gopal Varma’s fans asked him that where is he in this pic? he posted the same pin again and revealed that he is on the back seat. He wrote on the wall of Twitter, “For those asking I am the one in the back seat.”
Vijayawada is a peaceful city today, 4 decades ago it was notorious for gang wars. In a chain reaction, the rivalry between two local gangs resulted in the worst event in the history of united AP. Riots and looting broke out after the assassination of sitting MLA Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga Rao, who is said to the head of one of the two gangs. In the early 70s, rowdy elements ruled the roost in Bezawada (old name of Vijayawada). Meanwhile Ram Gopal Varma is producing Bhairava Geetha in which Dhananjaya and Irra are playing the lead roles. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Bhairava Geetha is an unusual and intense love story based on honor killing. Directed by Siddhartha Thatholu, the upcoming drama has action and class and caste struggle backdrop. The movie is all about the story of a Bhairava, a fierce henchman, who falls for a simple and beautiful girl Geetha. Few days ago, Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) shared the first look of poster of Bhairava Geetha, in which the lead pair were seen in an emotional mood. The producer Abhishek Nama has acquired the rights of Bhairava Geetha and is planning for a massive release on 25th October.
On 21st September, Ram Gopal Varma also shared his views regarding Pranay murder case. He wrote on the wall of his Twitter, “Amrutha’s father Maruti Rao is just a plain cowardly dirty criminal and getting Pranay killed is nothing to do with his honour ..if it’s a honour killing he should be ready to die .. Real honour killing will be to kill all those who will kill for honour.”
