Ram Gopal Varma is back! In the month of June, Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV announced his next upcoming project Bhairava Geetha, in which Kannada star Dhananjaya is playing the lead role. It is known news that RGV’s previous offering Officer, in which Akkineni Nagarjuna played the lead role, was bombed at the box office. RGV tried to promote the Officer by criticizing Pawan Kalyan but unfortunately the movie was turned out commercially flop at the box office. After the release, both director and producer accepted that Officer is a flop movie. Though Ram Gopal Varma was the director of Officer but this time, he is not directing his next venture Bhairava Geetha. It is being helmed by debutant Siddhartha and co-produced by Bhaskar Rashi. Dhananjaya and Irra are playing the lead roles. Now once again Ram Gopal Varma has started to promote his new venture but he is also announcing that Siddhartha is the director of this upcoming film Bhairava Geetha. He shared few stills on his twitter. In one of his post, Ram Gopal Varma shared the pic of actress Irra and captioned it, “A pic of Irra playing the lead opposite @Dhananjayaka in the Siddhardha directed action/love story #BhairavaGeetha.”
Ram Gopal Varma revealed the first look poster from the film on his twitter, and showered praises for director Siddhartha. He said, “A moment from #BhairavaGeetha Debutant director Siddhardha is the most promising director I have seen in the last 10 years ..Really feeling both lucky and proud to have discovered him.” It seems, Bhairava Geetha is loaded with violence scenes.
Bhairava Geetha is being made in Telugu and Kannada and is being bankrolled by Ram Gopal Varma under his home banner RGV Zoomin in association with Rashi Production.
Tagaru fame Dhananjaya made his debut in film industry with Director’s Special in 2013. The actor will also be seen in upcoming movie Popcorn Monkey Tiger.
