The Centre and state governments announced completely shutdown 75 districts across the country where coronavirus cases have been reported. State governments have also issued the orders and allowed only essential services to operate in about 75 districts with confirmed COVID-19- Coronavirus. The total number of Covid-19 cases in India rose to 476. The people in several parts of country India were seen mocking the lockdown and they were spotted roaming on the roads around in public. Social media has named those idiots – COVIDIOTS.
Now the controversial film maker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV who is an active user of social media sites, took to his Twitter to share a video clip that features a police officer spraying sanitizer on the baton. RGV also hinted that the police would be beating up the idiots who would come out from their house for no reason. By sharing this video, Ram Gopal Varma said, “Police sanitizing their weapon after beating up COVIDIOTS who are not following the lockdown.”
With the help of social media, number of celebrities from Bollywood, Tollywood and Kollywood have been spreading a word of caution, advising their fans to stay safe amidst the Coronavirus outbreak. T-town has been cautioning their followers about the health scare.
