From the past few weeks, there is a strong buzz in the film industry that Surender Reddy met the young and energetic Star Ram Pothineni and both are planning to team up for a project. Surender Reddy narrated a script to Ram and he gave his verbal consent.
It is being heard that Surender Reddy is currently working on the final draft of the script. As per the ongoing rumors, the upcoming film of Surender Reddy and Ram Pothineni is said to be the sequel for Race Gurram.
The sources say that initially Surender Reddy wanted to rope stylish star Allu Arjun in the sequel of Race Gurram but currently Allu Arjun is busy in Sukumar’ directorial venture Pushpa, which has Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead. After Puspa, Allu Arjun will start working for his next film Icon. So instead of waiting for Allu Arjun, the director Surender Reddy considered Ram Pothineni and approached him. If everything falls in the right place, the upcoming project, Race Gurram sequel will go on the floor next year.
Meanwhile Ram Pothineni is currently busy in upcoming action drama Red, the remake of Tamil movie Thadam, which is helmed by Kishore Tirumala.
