The young and energetic star Ram Pothineni is excited to kick start shooting for his next film with Tamil director Lingusamy, which is a bilingual movie and it will be made in Telugu and Tamil. Uppena girl Krithi Shetty has been roped in to play the female lead. The upcoming film marks the debut of Ram Pothineni and Krithi Shetty in Kollywood. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Ram Pothineni’ character in Lingusamy’ film will have negative shades and he will be seen as a modern Robinhood kind of a role.
The RED fame Ram Pothineni is excited as the director gave him the final narration of the film. The sources say that it will give a lot of scope for Ram Pothineni to showcase his talent.
Devi Sri Prasad will render the tune. The film will have a strong antagonist. There was speculation that R Madhavan might be roped in, however the makers rubbished those rumors.
He was last seen in action thriller drama RED, which received lukewarm response. Red was the remake of Tamil movie Thadam. His film before that, iSmart Shankar, helmed by Puri Jagannadh of Temper and Pokiri fame, however was well received.
