The energetic star Ram Pothineni made his film debut in 2006 with the romantic comedy film Devadasu, which became a blockbuster at the box office.  He rose to prominence with leading roles in critical and commercial successes such as Ready, Maska, Kandireega, Pandaga Chesko, Nenu Sailaja, Hyper, Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, Hello Guru Prema Kosame. Currently Ram Pothineni is basking in the glory of his recent offering iSmart Shankar, directed by Puri Jagannadh. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Ram Pothineni has decided to repay his love to Puri Jagannadh and has agreed to make his presence in the item song of Akash Puri starrer upcoming film Romantic.

 It is not yet clear that which heroine will shake her leg with Ram Pothineni in this item song of Romantic.  Akash Puri is the son of film maker Puri Jagannadh and is currently busy in the shoot of Romantic, which has Ketika Sharma in the female lead. Ramya Krishna has also been the part of this film and she will play an important and full length role.

The sources close to the film unit confirmed that  Ram Pothineni has given his nod for the item song of Puri Jagannadh’ son Akash Puri starrer Romantic. This is not the first time when a south star is going to shake a leg for item song. In the past,  Young Tiger Jr NTR danced for Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Chintakayala Ravi (guest appearance in song Shava Shava Bhalle Bhalle)) and Venkatesh shook leg for Rana Daggubati starrer Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum (special appearance in song “Sai Andri Nanu”). Now  Ram Pothineni has decided to shake a leg for Akash Puri starrer Romantic, which is being directed by Anil Paduri and jointly bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the banner of under Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Puri Connects banners.
