Rana Daggubati surprising support for Raj TarunRana Daggubati is a well-known actor in the South Indian film Industry and he became a household name in the country after he portrayed the role of Bhallaldeva ins Rajamouli’s Baahubali series (Baahubali :The Beginning and Baahubali 2:The Conclusion). It is known news that Rana Daggubati is very close to Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.  Now according to the latest update, Rana Daggubati is going to bankroll an upcoming untitled film in partnership with Akshay Kumar.  Rana Daggubati is planning to make a bilingual Telugu and Hindi drama. In it’s Telugu version Raj Tarun will play the lead role whereas he is planning to rope a Bollywood actor for Hindi version. Everyone is surprised after hearing that Rana Daggubati is extending his support for Raj Tarun.

 The Telugu version starring Raj Tarun will be bankrolled by Rana Daggubati whereas its Hindi version will be produced by Akshay Kumar. Rana’s father, Suresh Babu, has produced many films under his home production label. Now Rana has also decided to produce few films to encourage the budding talent.

The sources say that Rana Daggubati who was impressed by a story conceptualised by an upcoming director, has decided to produce the film with young actor Raj Tarun.

On the other hand, Raj Tarun, whose career was on the brink of jeopardy after the failure of his past couple of films, seems to be bouncing back. Apart from Rana Daggubati’ film, Raj Tarun is also the part of Dil Raju’s production venture.

Raj Tarun made his debut in the Tollywood movie Uyyala Jampala in 2013. He also won the Best Debutant Actor award at the South Indian International Movie Awards in 2014. Raj Tarun was last seen in romantic entertainer Lovers which was bombed at the box office.

Raj Tarun and Rana Daggubati’ film will go on sets later this year and more details about this project will be announced soon.
