Rana Daggubati who has delivered a number of hit movies in his filmy career, is currently working with Sai Pallavi in upcoming periodic drama Virata Parvam, which is progressing at the brisk pace. After wrapping up the shoot of Virata Parvam, Rana Daagubati will join the sets of Gunasekhar’ directorial venture Hiranyakashyapa. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Rana Daggubati has also joined his hands with Teja for an upcoming project- Rakshasa Rajyamlo Ravanasurudu where he will essay an antagonist.
Both Teja and Rana Daggubati have worked together for political thriller drama Nene Raju Nene Mantri in which Kajal Aggarwal played the lead role and the movie was blockbuster at the box office. Now once again actor and director duo are teaming up for a movie. The sources say that the film of Rana Daggubati and Teja is a dark thriller drama, and the makers have locked the title ‘Rakshasa Rajyamlo Ravanasurudu’.
The sources also revealed that in ‘Rakshasa Rajyamlo Ravanasurudu’, Rana Daggubati will not be the protagonist but the antagonist. Teja is planning to rope a young guy to play the lead role. In the month of November, last year, Teja was in the news headlined for making a film on abrogation of Article 370 in connection with Jammu and Kashmir. It was heard that Teja was planning to bring Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on the board to play the lead role. There is no update regarding this project till date.
