It is known that Gunasekhar and Rana Daggubati has teamed up for the project Hiranyakashyapa which is a mythological high budgeted drama. But while in pre production, lock down got imposed and all the activities came to a stop.
With lock down getting extended, everyone thought Suresh Babu who is the producer for the project is going to back off and scrap this movie. Hiranyakashyapa was proposed to be made in a budget of around Rs 175 Crores. So it is obvious to think that Suresh Babu will not be ready to make this movie on such a budget.
But the truth is that Rana Daggubati is believing Hiranyakashyapa will work. So Suresh Babu is indeed continuing with the project and the news is utter false that Hiranyakashyapa is scrapped. Pre production will be continued once things get back to normal. Suresh Babu himself has confirmed this news.
Rana Daggubati has to release Aranya first which got postponed from April 2nd to further date. After that he is playing lead role in Virata Parvam which needs to be completed ASAP. So that means Hiranyakashyapa might take year end to get on track. However we have to wait and see how things unfold once lock down gets lifted.
