Rana Daggubati has last year taken a long break due to his illness. However he recovered in style and finished shooting of his long delayed project Aranya. This movie which should have released last year itself is finally scheduled for release on April 2nd. Promotions of the movie got started as well. Teaser of the film and even first single got released with decent response. Touted to be a film which mirrors the today’s society, Rana will be seen in the role of Forest man in the movie.
Directed by Prabhu Solomon, Aranya also features Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal in other lead role. Aranya is made in three languages Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. However it looks like the movie is going to be postponed from the scheduled release date. No Corona virus scare is not the reason for this. Tamil Nadu distributors have decided to shut down the theaters from 27th of this month.
They are doing this against the government who recently raised tax in the state. With tax not reduced theaters are going to be shut down on 27th of this month and if it happens it is highly unlikely that they are going to be reopened by April 2nd. So postponement is the only way. If it gets postponed in one language it is obvious that it will happen in other languages too.
