It is very well known that Filmfare is considered to be one of the most prestigious and respectable awards in movie fraternity. Filmfare awards for the year 2018 in Telugu has been announced and unsurprisingly, most impactful movies of the year Rangasthalam and Mahanati has taken away all the limelight. Rangasthalam has grabbed a total of 5 filmfares while Mahanati has taken away four.
Ram Charan wins the filmfare for best actor in Rangasthalam. His performance in a hearing impaired role has left audiences and critics stunned. This is Charan’s third filmfare award after Best debut for Chiruta and Best actor for Magadheera. Anasuya has grabbed the best supporting actress award, While Chandrabose got the best lyricist award for the same movie, the other categories in which Rangasthalam won the black lady are for best cinematographer (Rathnavelu) and best music director (Devi Sri Prasad).
Mahanati is no less when coming to best performances from both artists and technical team. Keerthy Suresh has lived in the character of Savitri garu and she deservingly will win all the awards for 2018 as best actress. Filmfare will be one among them.
Nag Ashwin has won the best director. Dulquer Salman has been given the best critics award and on top of all that, Mahanati has won the best film award.
