Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni starrer upcoming village based drama Rangasthalam, is gearing up for grand release on 30th March 2018. According to the latest update, the makers have sold out all the rights of Rangasthalam for a whooping price. Sukumar’s directorial venture reportedly fetched Rs 80 Cr for global distribution rights, Rs 20 Cr for TV rights and Rs 12 Cr for dubbing and other rights.
Rangasthalam has fetched Rs 112 Cr in total for the producers and finally Ram Charan has beaten the record of his previous offering Dhruva in the term of pre-release business. Dhruva had earned Rs 57.50 Cr from the sale pf its global distribution rights.
Charan’s Rangasthalam has also crushed the record of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 which earned Rs 103.50 Cr and Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham which earned Rs 100.80 Cr in its pre-release business.
The pre release business of Rangasthalam is almost aqual to Young Tiger Jr.NTR starrer Jai Lava Kusa, directed by Bobby and produced by Nandamuri Kalyanram, which fetched Rs 112.5 Cr in its pre release business.
Rangathalam is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Anasuya Bharadwaj, Jagapathi Babu and Aadhi Pinisetty in crucial role. Pooja Hegde will be seen shaking legs in item song.
