Rashmika Mandanna, the Kannada lady has been roped in an upcoming Hindi film Animal which has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role and it is being helmed by none other than Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy fame.
Ranbir Kapoor recently wrapped up the shoot of upcoming fantasy movie Brahmastra co-starring Alia Bhatt which is directed by Ayan Mukerji. And after wrapping up the Luv Ranjan film co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, he will soon move on to his next, which is Animal.
Animal is one of the most anticipated films of Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film also has Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Earlier, Parineeti Chopra was also a part of Animal but as she walked out from this project, the makers brought Rashmika Mandanna on the board to play the female lead. The upcoming film will be collectively produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1Studios.
The movie Animal is based against the backdrop of the gun mafia in India. Ranbir Kapoor is essaying the role of a guy who is from the family of gangsters which is led by his father. Anil Kapoor will be seen in the role of Ranbir Kapoor’ father in Animal. The upcoming film marks the first collaboration among Rashmika Mandanna, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor.
