Madhavan played the villain in Akkineni Naga Chaitanya starrer action and romantic entertainer Savyasachi, and now once again, he is going to test his luck as villain in Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s upcoming film which will be helmed by ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada‘ fame VI Anand.
It is known news that after a long gap, Madhavan made his come back in Tollywood with Savyasachi, where he essayed the role of antagonist. Unfortunately the movie was turned out disaster but the performance of Madhavan received lot of applause. With Savyasachi, Madhavan made his debut as Villain. According to the latest update, recently VI Anand approached Madhavan and asked him to play the role of antagonist in Ravi Teja starrer. The sources say that Madhavan has given his green signal and soon the official announcement will be made regarding it.
Ravi Teja is going to play the lead role whereas Madhavan is going to essay the negative role in this upcoming untitled film. It seems R Madhavan is very impressed with his character in this film. Ram Talluri will bankroll Ravi Teja and Madhavan starrer.
Ravi Teja was last seen in Amar Akbar Anthony in which Goa beauty Ileana D Cruz played the female lead. As Ravi Teja has delivered back to back disasters , ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’, ‘Nela Ticket’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, he is pinning lot of hopes this time.
Currently Madhavan is waiting for the release of Hindi movie Zero in which Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma are playing the lead role. The film is directed by Aanand L. Rai and is jointly produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment’s Gauri Khan. The details of Madhavan’s role in Zero is yet to be known. In this movie, Shahrukh Khan is a dwarf who falls in love with Katrina Kaif, who is a superstar.
