Ravi Teja film deal with serious crime: Kathua rape and murder caseRavi Teja is working without breaks and will be seen in upcoming untitled film in the direction of Santosh Srinivas of Kandireega fame.  Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling this big budget action entertainer. The upcoming drama is remake of  Tamil blockbuster movie Theri in which Vijay played the lead role. Theri was also released in  Telugu as Police. Samantha Akkineni and Amy Jackson played the female leads.  The sources close to the director reveal that Santosh Srinivas is making few changes in the script according to the taste of Telugu audiences and more extra scenes will also be added in this remake. It has also come out that instead of showing Software engineer girl’s rape case, Santosh Srinivas is planning to shoot Kathua (Asifa) kind of rape and murder case in Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer film.

The Kathua rape case refers to the abduction, rape, and murder of 8-year-old girl, named  Asifa Bano, in Rasana village near Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir in January 2018. According to Santosh Srinivas,  this  scene will be one of the major highlight of  Ravi Teja starrer.

Earlier it was heard that  Rabhasa and Kandireega director Santhosh Srinivas would direct a movie for Pawan Kalyan. However, things took a different turn as Pawan Kalyan became busy with his political assignments following which, the project was put in cold storage.  Later Santhosh Srinivas contacted Ravi Teja and narrated the script.

 On the otherside, currently Ravi Teja  is busy in wrapping up the shoot of his current project Amar Akbar Anthony, which is being directed by Srinu Vaitala and  bankrolled  by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, and Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.

Currently Ravi Teja is waiting for the release of Nela Ticket, which is arriving at the theaters  tomorrow on 25th May. Malavika Sharma is playing the love interest of Ravi Teja in Nela Ticket. Nela Ticket is directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala and produced under the banner SRT Entertainments by Ram Talluri.
