Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja was last seen playing the lead role in action drama Khialdi which was released on 11th February 2022. Now according to the latest report, the movie Khiladi has landed in the legal trouble. Khiladi moniker and film franchise is synonymous with Akshay Kumar. It is knonw that the Hindi dubbed version of Khiladi was also released on 11th February. This new release has upset the apple cart and left producer Ratan Jain furious.
Ratan Jain, the producer of the original Khiladi starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, has moved the court with a plea to change the title of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer movie Khiladi and stall the release on OTT and other platforms.
During the media interaction, Ratan Jain said that Khiladi title is registered with us under the trademark act and while the release of the movie that stars Ravi Teja is not going to incur us financial losses, it is about the reputation of Khiladi movies.
Ratan Jain, filed a case at the Delhi High Court as the title Khiladi has been used without his permission. Ratan Jain said, “We have filed the case on both parties – the presenter and the producer”.
