Ravi Teja and Malvika Sharma rumour: Ravi Tej recently has given nod to Vi Anand’s script and he has reportedly recommended Malvika Sharma’s name as female lead for this film, says source. But Vi Anand refuted the rumours and said, Malvika Sharma is the part of Ravi Teja’s film.
Ravi Teja and Malvika Sharma shared the screen space in action and romantic entertainer Nela Ticket. Though the movie received negative response by the movie lovers and critics but the performance of Ravi Teja and Malvika Sharma was highlighted. Nela Ticket marks Malvika Sharma’s debut in Tollywood. Recently Ravi Teja also joined hands with Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada fame director Vi Anand for an upcoming project. There was a buzz in the film Industry that the makers roped Malvika Sharma in this film to share the screen space with Ravi Teja and it has also come out that Kick star Ravi Teja requested Vi Anand to bring Malvika Sharma on the board.
Now director Vi Anand came forward to refute the rumour. He said, “Neither Malvika Sharma is the part of Ravi Teja’s film nor he recommended her name.” Finally Vi Anand’s clarification has put an end to the speculation.
On the other side, currently Ravi Teja is busy in his upcoming movie Amar Akbar Anthony, which is being helmed by Srinu Vaitala. Ileana D’Cruz and Shruti Haasan are playing the female lead roles. Apart from this movie, Ravi Teja will also be seen in Santosh Srinivas’s directorial venture in which Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa are playing the female leads. It is Telugu remake of Tamil movie Theri and is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
Vi Anand started his career as assistant director and later he made his directorial debut with Hrudayam Ekkada Unnadi in 2014. In Tollywood, Vi Anand’s previous offering Okka Kshanam starring Allu Sirish, Surbhi, Seerat Kapoor was decent hit at the box office.
Meanwhile Malvika Sharma has been roped in Ram Pothineni starrer upcoming untitled film, to be helmed by Praveen Sattaru of PSV Garuda fame and bankrolled by Anand Prasad of Bhavya Creations.
