Mass Maharaja Raviteja has been going through a rough patch recently as they have failed big time at box office. His Touch Chesi Choodu, Amar Akbar Anthony has burnt the hands of all parties involved in the business. He is currently in need of a big hit to revive his career and put it back on track, which he is expecting Disco Raja will do. This Science fiction thriller is going to be released on December 20th with only few portions left to be shot. Raviteja will complete shooting of those scenes very soon and move onto his next.
On the eve of Diwali, Raviteja has announced his next, which is his 66th film to be precise in the direction of Gopichand Malineni. Incidentally, it is Raviteja who introduced Gopichand as director with the flick Don Seenu. Later they both joined hands another time for Balupu which is also a successful venture. Gopichand Malineni so far gas directed 5 films in his career in which only 2 of them are successful. Both these films as said earlier has Raviteja in lead. His other films Bodyguard, Pandaga Chesko and Winner are not so successful films. So both Raviteja and Gopichand Malineni are in need of big hits. For that, they have chosen a remake.
Yes, if sources from filmnagar are to be believed, Raviteja 66th film is going to be a remake. Gopichand has made enough changes to Vijay’s super hit Tamil film Theri. This police story has gotten well with action lovers and director Atlee has taken care of the action episodes well. This police story is now being remade.
Interesting update is that Theri has already been dubbed into Telugu with the title Polisodu. Now, will Telugu audience show interest in watching the same flick again? Or the news which has been circulating is total false?? Well, only time will answer these questions.
