Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Kiara Advani have completed the first schedule of their upcoming film, RC15, under the direction of Shankar. For the first time in his career, producer Dil Raju sold his film to a corporate studio entirely. Zee Studios has closed a deal with the producer Dil Raju for Shankar and Ram Charan’ yet to be titled film #RC15 for a whopping amount of Rs 350 Cr.
The industry tracker Manobala confirmed it by sharing a post: Theatrical, Satellite & Digital rights of Ram Charan #RC15 sold to Zee Studios for a WHOPPING amount of Rs 350 cr. Music, Overseas and Remake rights are yet to be sold.
This will be Zee Studios’ biggest ever acquisition in South Indian cinema. They had previously done something very similar with Salman Khan starrer Radhe and now, they are striking a deal for RC15, which is one of the most anticipated films in South Indian cinema.
Apart from the lead pair, Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, the upcoming drama also has Anjali, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra and Sunil in the crucial roles. The film, which is tipped to be a political thriller, will have the music scored by SS Thaman and camera work by Tirru.
