Currently Young Rebel Star Prabhas has number of projects in his kitty and one of them is Adipurush, which will be directed by Om Raut. The film Adipurush is one of the high budget movies in India and it will be shot entirely using the green mat technology seen in several Hollywood films.
The first look poster of Adipurush hinted that Prabhas will essay the role of Lord Rama and the upcoming film of Om Raut is inspired from Ramayana. But the real news is that Prabhas and Om Raut ‘ film Adipurush has no relation with Ramayana. Prabhas’ role will resemble Lord Rama in Om Raut’ directorial venture. There are no episodes of Ramayana in this big budget entertainer but the characters are inspired from Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Ravana – Lankesh.
Saif Ali Khan of Tanhaji fame will play antagonist in the film Adipurush which will be shot as a bilingual in Telugu and Hindi. It will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and several foreign languages.
The pre-production work of Adipurush, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-series banner, has been going on for nearly six months and the makers are eyeing to release the film in 2022.
