One such brave heart, who was one of the early freedom fighters was the fierce Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. It is known news that Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role in  upcoming much awaited big budget movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Chiranjeevi will make his screen presence as Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who is credited to be one of the first freedom fighters in India. He rebelled against British authorities in 1846. Today (22nd February)  is the death anniversary of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy

Today on the occasion of death anniversary of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the director Surender Reddy took to his Twitter to share the pic of real freedom fighter  from Rayalaseema and captioned it, “share the pic of Remembering our unsung hero Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy on his death anniversary! Let’s Salute the Great Soul #UyyalawadaNarasimhaReddy #SyeRaaNarasimhaReddy.” Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy was one of freedom fighters in India.

The father of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy was related to the Polygar family of Uyyalawada in Koilkuntla taluk, Cuddapah district, and had married two daughters of the Polygar of Nossam. He had three sons, of whom Naramsimha was the youngest.

The story of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has been penned down by Sai Madhav Burra, Vema Reddy and Paruchuri brother.  Surender Reddy is directing the film and it being bankrolled by Ram Charan under Konidela Productions banner.  It is said to be a trilingual film which will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
