After delivering Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Megastar Chiranjeevi collaborated with Koratala Siva for an upcoming project Acharya, which is being bankrolled by his son Mega Power Star Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions. It is known news that Trisha Krishna has walked away from Acharya. Recently it was heard that Mahesh Babu will be seen playing a cameo but the sources say that when Maharshi star quoted huge amount as remuneration, Chiranjeevi said no and asked Ram Charan to play the cameo. Ram Charan is said to be joining the shoot of Acharya post RRR shoot, for that guest role. Now the reports are coming that the makers contacted Anushka Shetty to play the female lead in Chiranjeevi’ Acharya, but she did not show any interest.
As Anushka Shetty couldn’t do it directly, she quoted extra price as remuneration to romance with Chiranjeevi, so the makers approached Kajal Aggarwal. Few are also saying that Anushka Shetty was also not impressed with her character in Acharya.
Finally, Kajal Aggarwal has officially confirmed that she is on the board for Acharya. Meanwhile, Anushka Shetty is planning to start the promotional activities of her thriller drama Nishabdham.
