In the middle of Ind-Pak brawl regards with Article 370 and 35 (A) abrogation, intelligence has suspected that they received inputs stating Pakistan is planning for underwater attack with India. Now, from the latest update, it is known that a high-security alert has been declared in Gujrat coast guard post intelligence has shared info on the possibility of trained commandos entering the Gulf of Kutch in Gujarat from the Harami Nala creek area.

From the reports BSF spokesperson, it was known that the Border Security Force (BSF) found two single-engine Pakistani boats were abandoned in the ‘Harami Nala’ area and a search operation is active for them.

With the probability of the underwater threat possibility, all the major port areas such as the Kandla Port and the Adani Port in Mundra and other infrastructures were kept at the red zone with security beefed up. The ports have been directed shipping agents to inform their vessels and have a clear eye on their places and report to the Coast Guard, marine police stations or port control rooms on any suspicious activity found.

Adani Port management issued a similar advisory as, “All shopping agents and stakeholders are directed to inform their vessels accordingly and report any suspicious activity to the marine control station and port operation centre immediately. Please note that Mundra Port is maintaining security level 1. Security measures have also been enhanced at the shore side of the port.”
