Regina Cassandra is currently working with Sudheer Varma for an upcoming action thriller drama, which is the official remake of the Korean drama, Midnight Runners. While the original film featured two male actors in the lead, but the Telugu remake will feature two actresses in titular roles.
Now according to the latest report, the upcoming film of Regina Cassandra has been titled as Shakini Dhakini . Touted to be an investigative thriller drama, Regina will be seen playing the role of a trainee police officer. It is all about the story of two students at a police academy and how they bust a gang of human traffickers. The yet-untitled project is directed by Sudheer Varma of Swamy Ra Ra fame.
Nivetha Thomas is also the part of this investigative thriller drama and she is playing the other lead role. It is a female centric drama, which is jointly bankrolled by Sunita Tati and Suresh Productions. We have already reported that they have bought the remake rights of Korean movie ‘Midnight Runners’.
Apart from Shakini Dhakini, the gorgeous diva Regina Cassandra will also be seen in Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Pooja Hegde and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Acharya which is directed by Koratala Siva.
