After delivering historic and war drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Megastar Chiranjeevi announced his next project Acharya, which is being helmed by Koratala Siva and it has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. It is known news that Chiranjeevi is also planning to act in a remake of Tamil blockbuster film Vedalam under the direction of Meher Ramesh.
Recently there was strong buzz in the film industry that Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi has been approached to play the role of Chiranjeevi’ sister in this remake. And recently, National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh entered the picture, as she is now being rumored to be playing Lakshmi Menon’ role as Ajith’ sister in Vedalam’s Telugu remake. But the reality is that the makers of the remake have not zeroed in on any actress.
The sources say that since the sister’s role in Vedalam remake is a full-fledged character with a lot of substance, it requires an actress of Sai Pallavi and Keerthy Suresh’ caliber. But currently both the actresses are busy in their ongoing projects. Now we have to wait and see that who will get the chance to play Chiranjeevi’ sister in this remake.
Currently Keerthy Suresh is waiting for the release of Miss India whereas Sai Pallavi is working with Naga Chaitanya in Love Story.
