Reshma Rathore gets BJP ticketReshma Rathore, the Telugu actress, who hails from Yellandu of Kothagudem district,  has made her entry in Politics and she is going to contest this year assembly elections. According to the latest update, she will be contesting the election on behalf of BJP (Bhartiya Janatha Party). Reshma Rathore has got BJP ticket to contest the upcoming Telangana assembly elections.

Reshma Rathore recently joined BJP and her name was announced today as the party’s candidate from Wyra constituency in Khammam district.  The Telangana assembly polls is going to be held on 7th December, 2018.

 Reshma Rathore has started her preparation and will soon she will start her campaign.

In the month of April, Reshma Rathore joined BJP party in the presence of State President K Laxman in Hyderabad.  In a statement, Reshma Rathore said, “The reason for joining the BJP (Bhartiya Janatha Party) is the party would offer me an opportunity to serve backward areas in Mahabubabad district. The development of backward areas could be possible only with the BJP.” She also revealed that she has chalked out plans to actively work social and political issues in the constituency.

Reshma Rathore started her filmy career with Telugu movie Bodyguard in which she played the role of  Trisha Krishnan’s friend and later she made her debut with the Ee Rojullo, which was  directed by Maruthi Dasari and the movie was  screened for 175 days in theatres.

Reshma Rathore was awarded best confident Face of The Year 2012 for Ee Rojullo and also she was nominated for 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards for best female debutant for the same. She was last seen in Tamil movie Adhagappattathu Magajanangalay, which was released in 2017.
